The Screenflex Story Unfolds…
Screenflex was founded in 1988 by Paul, John and Richard Maas. Prior to this, and dating back to 1965, their architectural firm had many churches, schools, corporations and restaurants as clients. Working with these clients, the partners realized that regardless of the client’s size or budget, they all had one common goal; make the best and most flexible use of their valuable floor space. To help their clients meet this goal, they designed and patented several lines of unique portable room dividers. A new concept in providing truly versatile use of floor space was born.
An aggressive marketing campaign was put into action along with developing new, innovative, and proprietary manufacturing equipment. Acceptance of this new concept in dividing space was both immediate and widespread. Now, over two decades later, Screenflex Portable Room Dividers are still solving space dividing needs for thousands of locations in all markets of every state and across the globe.
In the beginning, Screenflex operated out of two separate locations in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Today, Screenflex operates from one large state-of-the-art corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in picturesque Lake Zurich, Illinois. When you are in our area, please stop for a visit and experience “The World’s Most Versatile Portable Room Dividers” for yourself.
