The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 20%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

The dividers have a great design! I love how I can use them to create a space for visual display.  We like the compact-ability, flexibility, design and weight. We are using them for display boards for Art shows, galleries and exhibits. We found out about Screenflex from another school in my district. We love our dividers! We needed to create smaller classroom space in a larger fellowship hall and still have the hall for full use. They are perfect for the application we had in mind to carve out a classroom in our fellowship hall and help with the noise in the room. I was thrilled the dividers actually came a week ahead of the estimated delivery, and the videos Screenflex sent on unboxing and set up were very helpful. The design and flexibility of these is fantastic. I'm pleased with the "shock absorbers" and rollers to allow us to move them easily to different parts of the building as needed. They roll right over door thresholds with no problem. Our salesperson, Lourdes was so helpful in answering my questions. The dividers also help with sound dampening in a large room that is loud with activity. We can create flexible configurations and we have portability with these dividers.
