Collecting more than 30,000 items for a local food bank was a major accomplishment for Sumner High School. Next came the task of packaging those donations for delivery.
With faculty, staff, and students ready to help, staff member Scott Thompson used Screenflex room dividers to organize the space and keep packing instructions visible.
Clear Instructions, Dedicated Stations
Dividers positioned throughout the room served two purposes: displaying packing directions and defining stations for boxing and labeling supplies. Volunteers could refer to the posted instructions as they worked, helping everyone follow the same process. Clearly marked stations gave each task a dedicated place and helped keep the effort moving.
A School Effort with Community Impact
The successful packing day helped get much-needed food and supplies to the local food bank. It also showed how room dividers can support school activities beyond the classroom, turning a shared room into an organized workspace for a community project.
