In September of 2011, President George Bush was on hand for a celebration to mark the merging of the National Naval Medical Center and the Walter Reed Medical Center to form the Walter Reed Medical Center. With a high number of media and guests attending the event, security was tightened to ensure the safety of the President and dignitaries in attendance.  The President was set to address many of the 8,500 staff, veterans, and current members in active duty in a hall that was surrounded by glass windows.  The quick-thinking staff rolled Screenflex Room Dividers in front of the windows to shield the President from view from the media and outside guests.  The President could then address our nation’s heroes in a safe environment.
