How to Set up Room Dividers

Video on How to Set up Room Dividers

Two great: “How to videos about setting up Room Dividers.”

Hi, I’m Steve with Screenflex.  I want to show you a couples tips and techniques today on positioning room dividers. I have a couple typical Screenflex Room Dividers behind me here.  You can see that between every panel there is a hinge that goes top to bottom and it will bend 180 degrees.  You can make any desired angle in between 0 to 180. 45, 90 for a square corner, or anything you desire. The clicking you hear is the panel snapping into position when it’s straight open. That would be the job of the position control hinge at the top of the panels that holds it nice and straight when you’ve got it in a straight open position. The panels are designed with an end frame that has the handle you move them with on the ends. They come together so that they’re flush where they meet.  If you bring them together head on the end frames are parallel.  You can get an optional latch, we call that a multi-unit connector to actually lock the panels together. Or just leave them unlatched like these are here. You can makeshift a door to be opened and closed if it’s a classroom setting or some other situation where you want to have access between the panels.  You always want to make sure do the corners in a room before or after the connection and the connections can be made anywhere along a straight run. Thank you!

Hi, I’m Steve with Screenflex and I want to show you a tip on positioning room dividers. The panels are hinged from top to bottom by a folding piano hinge making a bend at any point is as easy as simply moving the panel in one direction.  If you move the panel completely open it will click into place.  The click means that the panel is held straight open by the position control hinge at the top of the panel. To bend it again closed you just simply click it past the position control hold and you can make any angle you desire. By bending it at every other panel, I can make sort of a curved wall out of it. It doesn’t have to be straight. Thank you!
