Our lead times for ordering room dividers , usually run 5-10 working days. This translates to, one – two weeks to manufacture. It is rare that we do not ship out on time or early.

Depending on where you are located in the continental USA, it will usually take anywhere from 1-5 days for shipping. If you are in a remote area, or are getting full service inside delivery, this may take longer.

We ship out the room dividers on a common carrier (large box truck or semi). The delivery is typically tailgate delivery. This is the most economical way to ship for the customer.

The majority of shipments are delivered smoothly with out any glitches. There are some procedures that will help the delivery go well.

We ask the carrier to call at least 24 hours before delivery to schedule an appointment. Please be aware that if the room divider is not delivered in a timely fashion, (with in 48 hours of the phone call) the freight company will charge storage fees. That is why we ask for a contact name and phone number, at the time you place your order.

The freight company will give approximately a 4 hour window for the delivery. They will not be time specific. We have no control how they schedule their deliveries. If someone needs a specific time for a delivery, than it changes from a tailgate delivery to a time critical delivery. The cost for the delivery goes up dramatically.

At the time of delivery, the driver brings the room divider just to the edge of the truck. The customer needs at least two to three people to bring down to ground level and unload. It is up to the customer to bring the room divider inside. Inside delivery and power liftgate delivery are available for additional charges.

I can’t urge you enough to inspect the room dividers before signing the delivery receipt. Make sure any damage to the cartons or room dividers is notated on the delivery receipt. Drivers will try to rush you as they do not want to wait for the shipment to be inspected.
Please insist on checking the shipment. Make sure you have the correct number of pieces that are listed on the delivery receipt. If not, sign for as short. Make sure there are no minor damages. If so, write the damage on the delivery receipt. If there is major damage, call our company immediately, we will determine if you should refuse the shipment.

If shortages or damages are not notated at the time of delivery, it is considered concealed damage and any freight claim will be denied.

Contact customer service as soon as you know there is a shortage or damages. This way parts or replacements can be expedited. Do not depend on the shipping company to contact Screenflex. It is not in their best interest to report shortages or damages.

We have standard freight rates up to 5 room dividers. We will be happy to do a freight quote for orders over 5 or more room dividers. Often, there is a freight savings on larger orders. You can ask your salesperson to see if there will be a savings. Otherwise you can send an email to customerservice@screenflex.com. Freight quotes are usually done quickly.

We can ship to most places overseas. We will do individual freight quotes based on what is ordered and where it is going. It may take up to 24 hours to get the quote from our logistics company.
