Church Administrator, Landisville, Pennsylvania
"We've been using the Room Dividers! Last night we separated our large meeting room into small prayer stations for the youth group to use while reflecting upon the death of a beloved teacher. They blend beautifully into the décor and offered privacy for prayer stations in an otherwise busy room. We were wishing for a couple of more! Thank you for a lovely and useful product" - October 2007
Synagogue Member, Teaneck, NJ
"Thank you Nancy! The delivery of the Room Dividers was a breeze...no assembly required was my favorite part. I was away the first weekend they were used, but I heard they came in very handy, were quite sturdy, and easy to navigate." - January 2008
Catechetical Leader, Waterville, NY
"Sorry I am so slow in responding to you. Yes we have been using the Room Dividers. We have a large open area that we now divide into 6 classrooms. They are working out well, better than we expected! There is a energy and buzz in the air when all 6 classrooms are going, but it is not distracting and the teachers are enjoying them. They are so easy to move, store, and reconfigure. Honestly, I think the Room Dividers are a toy for our pastor. Thank you for offering such a great product!" - January 2008
Sunday School Teacher, Tulsa, OK
"The Room Dividers have done what we needed them to do. They have significantly cut down on noise transfer. We use them in a gym setting so total noise control is impossible due to the high ceiling. Three classes share this space and the Room Dividers have worked quite well." - February 2008

"SPACED OUT", Your Church, Nov/Dec 2001 by Michael W. Michelsen, Jr
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Chicago, Illinois, was in the midst of an expansion program, but needed more space before the project would be completed.
"We had an important building project going on at the time," says Sandy Wunluck, the church's secretary, "but our Sunday school teachers were very short of space. They needed rooms for their classes, they needed boards to hang things on, and they needed storage space for their materials (to avoid) having to haul things back and forth. The only solution we could come up with was to divide our gym with partitions."
So, the church contacted Rich Maas, vice president of Screenflex, also in Chicago, for help. Screenflex met their needs.
"Partitions are an easy solution to many church space problems, " Maas says. "Unfortunately, what most people think of are the big, heavy monsters of yesterday. Our partitions are light, and they fold and unfold in seconds. They can be moved quickly and easily without damaging wooden floors or carpeting."
Because the company understands that no two churches are alike, it offers a wide variety of panel sizes in both free-standing and wall-mount versions. Portable classrooms are also available.
"Good Church Divisions", Your Church, March/April 1996, by John Thorp.
No matter what vintage your church architecture, you need to organize space for people for various purposes and in different settings. Every church building serves a variety of purposes: worship, education, fellowship, administration, recreation, and even entertainment. The mix and size of activities change frequently, even week to week.
Lightweight partitions ride on casters, allowing you to set them up in seconds, or fold them together for easy storage… portable partitions absorb most classroom sound and are particularly effective in rooms with standard ceiling heights. Yet, such partitions can also divide a gymnasium or other high ceiling room. Since they are freestanding, (Screenflex) portable partitions can easily reconfigure areas for cross-graded classrooms or special events.
Doesn't all of this cost a lot of money? The answer depends on whether one thinks short-or long-term. Simple portable portioning to make three rooms out of one larger room can cost as little as $2,000, plus shipping. But-this is the key-the savings over solid walls is immediately realized the moment a room or office is reconfigured. When that happens on a regular basis, perhaps weekly, the multi-purpose configurations make partitions an economic choice.
