How are the room dividers shipped?
All FREEstanding and WALLmount Room Dividers are shipped fully assembled via common carrier in rugged corrugated boxes approved by the NMFTA (National Motor Freight Traffic Association). All Portable Classrooms ship via Inside Delivery.

Yes, all FREEstanding Room Dividers are shipped fully assembled. Simply remove the cartoning and it's ready to use!

We have 8 ft. high ceilings on our room. Can we use 8 ft tall FreeStanding or WallMounted dividers?
Good question… and the answer is "No" for two very good reasons.
1.) An 8'0" tall Screenflex FreeStanding or WallMounted divider needs more than 8'0" in clearance, when rolling through your doorway on an angle, you simply will not have enough room to straighten it up, without damaging your ceiling.
2.) Our Position Control Hinges help keep the panels straight. They also add 3/4" in height to each divider. Thus, an 8'0" divider is too tall to use in a room with an 8'0" ceiling.
Will a 6'8" tall FREEstanding Room Divider fit through a standard 6'8" tall doorway?
Our Position Control Hinges add 3/4" in height to all FREEstanding Room Dividers. Thus, a doorway must be slightly larger than 6'8 3/4" so the divider can wheel freely through the opening
How are the Screenflex Divider Heights determined?
All heights are measured from the floor to the top of the divider. The Caster Clearance Area along the entire bottom length of any divider is 5 3/4" high.
Can a WALLmount unit be converted to a FREEstanding Room Divider or visa versa?
Units cannot be converted from one style to another. The legs are different on each style so the units would not operate properly.
Are Screenflex products made in the U.S.A?
Yes, Screenflex products are proudly made in Lake Zurich Illinois, part of the "Heartland of America"
What is the Screenflex Warranty?
As with most manufacturers of equipment, Screenflex products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for three years from the date of delivery.

How can the room dividers be cleaned?
FABRIC:
A. Oil or grease type of spots will respond to a mild solvent or dry cleaning agent. The blotting technique will be sufficient to remove most stains.
B. For general dirt or grime spots, sponging with the foam from a mild detergent or upholstery shampoo should remove the accumulated dirt and grime. Room temperature solution should be sufficient. Rinse well with a clean sponge to remove traces of the water based cleaning agent. The fabric will dry very quickly but avoid over saturating the panels.
VINYL:
Common dirt and stains may be removed by rubbing lightly with a moistened cloth, sponge or stiff bristle brush using a mild soap, detergent or non-abrasive cleanser. It is important that clean water be used on a constant basis and that the vinyl be towel dried.

How can we get parts for the room dividers?
Occasionally, a part may need to be replaced. We designed the room dividers so that all parts are replaceable. You may contact our customer service department to determine the correct part and cost, or simply print the part list below and give us a call.
